ECKEL

Anechoic Chambers & Other Noise Control Products and Systems

Designing & Manufacturing Anechoic Chambers for over 50 years

Eckel supply, design and install hemi (semi) and anechoic chambers. Anechoic chamber are used in the research and development of products or conformation of noise emitted to comply with new legislation. Eckel chambers can be fitted with either metalic, fibreglass, foam, e-element or compact anechoic wedges/absorbers.

Further applications offered include Audiology Rooms and Suites, applicable for all manner of specific requirements such as brain stem audiometry, hearing aid evaluation, clinical and research applications.

Noise Control Products

  • The Eckel Anechoic Chamber Range

  • Eckel designs, fabricates and installs anechoic and hemi-anechoic chambers to precise specifications for government laboratories, industrial concerns, and leading universities. Totally integrated systems and designs include requirements such as isolated floors, light and power connections, ventilation, temperature and humidity control, instrumentation sleeves, control supports, working floors, and single and double sound doors.

Anechoic Chambers are echo-free enclosures with a sound energy absorption level of 99% to 100%, or a reflected sound pressure level of 10% or less. The frequency at which the energy absorption drops below 99%, or the pressure reflection exceeds 10%, is known as the low-frequency cut-off. Sound absorption is obtained by lining the walls, ceilings, and floor with wedges or other sound absorbing elements or SuperSoft panels, depending on performance level required and cut-off desired.

  • Noise Control Panel Systems

  • Dependable
Eckel Architectural noise control panel systems are designed to provide effective control of reverberation and background noise in any architectural application from a small classroom or gym to a large coliseum, water treatment facility or industrial plant. Eckels designs offer the architect or acoustical consultant a range of products to select from to satisfy almost any noise control requirement in a wide range of applications. With over forty years experience in noise control, Eckel can provide a standard system or custom engineered design and guarantee the results.

    Service and Support
Engineering support services include acoustical analysis of building spaces. Room reverberation time calculations are offered as a service to architects and engineers utilizing our computer model room noise analysis program. Eckel can measure before and after room reverberation time and noise levels in a full range of frequencies from 125Hz to 8,000Hz when needed for correction of problems in existing facilities. Complete turn-key design, layout, engineering and installation are available.

  • Industrial Sound Enclosures

  • The Convenient method for controlling noise and improving the work environment.

The Eckoustic Modular Panel (EMPs) system offers an effective long-term solution to industrial community noise problems...providing quieter, less hazardous, and more productive work areas.

These pre-engineered, structurally strengthened panels combine outstanding sound control properties with unusual versatility in application. The 44 or 41 STC panels provide the necessary noise reduction for all industrial applications.

  • Audiometric Rooms - G Series Panel System

  • Eckel offers a wide range of standard rooms and custom-made suites to meet audiological clinical and research requirements. All combine high performance, versatile design and economy. Eckel acoustically engineered G-Panel construction affords excellent noise reduction. Choose from 19 demountable (G-Series panels) standard models and custom-made rooms for your specific needs. Rooms are easy to install, easy to take down and move.

  • Audiometric Booth

  • Eckel Audiometric Booths are the most practical and economical units available - high quality audiometric booths specially engineered to provide outstanding acoustic performance. The advanced design features cam-lock construction, which provides flexibility in moving, storing, and shipping.

The cam-lock design ensures that acoustic integrity, durability and utility remain intact. No other audiometric booth on the market offers this superior construction and quality. The booth is delivered assembled, ready to use. The knock-down packaging is offered as an option or for bulk export shipping.

The flush-mounted entry door with continuous magnetic seal allows the person being tested to enter and exit easily. Lighting, carpet, vibration isolators (heavy duty casters are optional), four universal 6.3 mm jack panel, and forced air ventilation are all standard.
