Meeting customer expectations is critical to product success. A longer product lifetime sets new challenges to the durability engineer. This is the reason why specialised durability testing is required in the design cycle. The process is sometimes compounded with difficulty when test data is acquired on the spot. Not only could conditions be extreme but the deadlines tight.

In today's fast development cycles, every data acquisition re-run slows down the process, putting product launch deadlines at risk.

The LMS Durability Application will guide attendees through the fundamentals of the tests-based durability engineering process - from mobile data acquisition, to data consolidation and analysis of durability specific characteristics to reliable simulations, proving ground and/or rig test campaigns, through to target-setting and definition of accelerated test procedures.

This training will provide insights in how to design against fatigue, how to capture customer usage and how to set realistic targets and test procedures. Amongst many application cases, specifically an off-road application case will be covered in detail to illustrate the theory presented throughout the seminar.
